WHAT IS LIPSTICK MADE FROM?
Lipstick is a very simple product made from a mixture of waxes, oils and pigments. Our lipsticks are not tested on animals, gluten-free and we do not use any harsh ingredients however, if you have known allergies then please check our ingredient lists by clicking here.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SAINTS AND THE SINNERS?
The Saints are sheer and have only 10% pigment in them to give you a hint of the color whereas the Sinners are 90% pigment and opaque in texture.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SUITS ME?
You should trust what you see in the mirror when you try the color. A lipstick color that suits you will make your skin, eyes, hair, complexion and everything else look brighter and more alive. If the color is wrong for you, you will notice that all of the above looks duller or drained.
WHAT IS THE BEST COLOR TO GO WITH EVERYTHING?
Any color that is not too far removed from your own lip tone. If you have pinkish lips then a natural pink color. If you have brownish lips then a brownish shade. Berry colored and plum tones tend to suit everyone and everything. Medieval is a universal flattering color
SHOULD I USE A LINER?
It is up to you but you don't have to use a liner unless you really want to alter the edges of your lips. If that is the case then I suggest you use our exact match liners they match EXACTLY to the corresponding lipstick shade. Invisible Liner goes with any product or color. Another tip you can also use a little concealer around the outside of the lips if you want to make the edges more defined. Just apply that first and then apply your lipstick.
HOW DO I STOP IT FROM BLEEDING/MOVING?
I have designed Lipstick Queen lipstick so that it shouldn't either bleed or move into cracks around the mouth. If lipstick has a tendency to do this Invisible Liner is for you!
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO REAPPLY?
For the Sinner shades you only need to touch it up a couple of times during the day and then reapply once again before you go out. The Saints are sheer so they need reapplying more often. Think of them as lip balm with a little color.
CAN I WEAR RED OR BOLD COLORS?
The answer is yes! Everyone can wear bolder colors if they are prepared to make a statement. The same with red. However, if you are feeling unsure about it then try a red or a bold in a sheer version first rather than full strength. Also, opt for minimal eye make up (just a little mascara and liner and very neutral shadow) when you wear red lipstick that way you won't look too overdone.

I WENT ON THE BARNEYS.COM WEBSITE AND COULD NOT FIND SAINT RED - HOW COME YOU DO NOT SELL THAT SHADE ONLINE?
Barneys.com carries the full line of lipsticks and Oxymoron matte glosses. However, some shades sell out quicker than others so if you do not see the shade it is because they are TEMPORARILY sold out; but have faith! They are very good at re-stocking so check back in a day or two. If you STILL cannot find the shade contact us, we will help!
I WANT TO TRY THE LIPSTICKS BEFORE I SAMPLE THEM, CAN YOU SEND SAMPLES?
We wish we could! We don't have any samples as of yet. Since we are a start up company we don't have the budget to produce samples like some of the bigger cosmetic houses. However, we hope that once we take over lipstick land (wink) we will be able to provide customers with samples.

Great Question! Poppy's personal appearances are a lot of fun. First and foremost it is a opportunity to meet the creator of the Brand and she is very personable. After meeting Poppy, you realize this is not just a business this is a life-long legacy/obsession and she is indeed on a personal mission to show women they too can wear lipstick.
At the appearance you can have personal face time with Poppy and have her pick a shade (or two) that would look perfect on you; she is up for (almost) anything and yes - she will sign your lipstick if your so inclined.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR LIPSTICK QUEEN? WILL YOU BE DOING EYESHADOWS/BLUSH TO COMPLIMENT THE LIPSTICKS?
NO! We will only be developing product for lips! We are passionate about the lip category and Poppy is not a make-up artist looking to create an entire make-up line. Instead, she is focused on creating the ultimate lip products.

Black Tie Optional gloss (or lipstick) would be the perfect product to fill that void. Don' t be intimidated - be intrigued! The black has been designed to be very very sheer so that worn on top of your favorite product it just adds depth. Worn alone it is a gorgeous blackberry shade - no one would believe you were wearing black gloss! Although if you do want to have the dramatic black gloss effect you can layer it for that look. So many choices with 1 product you won't get bored with Black Tie Optional!
HELP! I WAS NOT BORN WITH FULL LIPS AND I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. LIP PLUMPERS SEEM TO HURT AND I DON'T NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE. ARE THERE ANY TIPS OR TRICKS TO MAKE MY LIPS APPEAR FULLER?
